As you may recall, eight students from Enterprise High School died during the
severe storm system that moved through the country on March 1, 2007. Much of
the high school was destroyed and the school’s athletic department is
now scrambling to get their spring sports back on track. The soccer team lost
goals/balls, training equipment – and some students also lost their uniforms
and cleats. Just imagine if that had been YOUR child’s school!!!
At the invitation of Salem’s Booster Club, all three of the soccer teams/booster
clubs of Rockdale County’s High Schools are joining forces to raise money
to help replace the school’s soccer equipment that was destroyed during
the storm. Salem’s relief effort is being held on March 23rd and March
30th. We sincerely appreciate the support of both RCHS and Heritage in this
endeavor.
Here’s how you and your player can help:
(1) Bring your monetary donation to the Salem/RCHS game on Friday, March 23rd….or
to the Salem/Heritage game on Friday, March 30th.
(2) Bring at least five guests to the games. (Our children work hard, so let’s
support them by bringing in a large crowd to these cross-county rivalry games.)
And our “friends” can also donate to our cause!
The result will be a “win-win” for all three schools
and Enterprise High School!
This is a simple way to lend a helping hand. So remember to invite your friends
and bring your spare change! Every little bit will help our cause! THANK YOU!
