Thursday Evening, February 2, 2006 at 6:30 p.m. HHS Commons Area
Welcome to the Heritage High School Patriots 2007 soccer season. With your help, we can make this a very memorable soccer year for all our players. Heritage High School has one of the best soccer programs in the state, producing back-to-back state championships in 2002 and 2003 as well as players like international professional Clint Mathis.
This year the girl’s varsity team is better than ever and has the potential of being this year’s state champion. In recent years, the girl’s varsity has worked hard to be at the level they are this year. This is a team you must come and see play.
Building from past talents, the boy’s varsity will be equally exciting and a team to be reckoned with. Last year’s graduation took some great players from our line up. Nevertheless, many of our returning players will step up to make this a very exciting and competitive year.
The JV and freshmen squads will have the opportunity to add to this year’s excitement and I encourage all the parents to support each team.
As your 2007 Booster Club president, I will do my best to help raise funds to offset some of the expenses you (parents) occur during the year. We will look for business sponsors to help. Shane’s has already been a big supporter by catering our kick-off banquet. They will also support our Jamboree and some other games. However, I will still need your help. In years past, Heritage High School Booster Club has enjoyed 100% parent membership and I hope this year will be no different. I look forward to meeting and working with you and your player to make this a very successful year.
At this year’s Kick Off Banquet, I will need each parent to bring the following
items:
1. Player Information Form (completed please) (available on the web)
2. Booster Club Membership Form (completed please) (available on the web)
3. Check or cash for Booster Club Membership (make check payable to “Heritage
Soccer Booster Club”)
4. Three (3) 2 liter Coke products for concession stand (see below for details)
8th & 9th grade players: 2 Cokes and 1 Sprite
10th – 12th grade players: 2 Cokes and 1 Diet Coke
5. Ten dollars ($10) per person for your dinner; Five ($5) per children twelve
and under (Shane’s BBQ will furnish food)

Jamboree:
The Jamboree will take place on Saturday February 10, 2007. This is the kick-off
of our soccer season. Schedules will be available soon. The boy's games will
be played at Evans and the girl's games will be played at Reid. This means
we will have concession stands open at both venues. It is extremely
important that all parents sign up to work a concession stand shift during
the Jamboree.

Team and individual pictures will be taken on Sunday, February 11, 2007. Picture

Kick-Off Banquet:
Our annual kick-off dinner will be Thursday, February 8, 2007 at 6:30 p.m.
in the commons area of the school. Food will be provided by Shane’s Barbecue.
Cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children twelve and under. When you arrive,
your concession stand Coke products will be taken. We will have tables set
up for you to complete your membership forms and join the Booster Club prior
to the banquet. By doing this, you can enjoy the banquet and not have to wait
afterwards to join. Below is the pricing information.
Getting ready for the banquet takes a lot of volunteers. We need players and parents to assist. Please contact Bessie Lou Wilson at 770-922-3774 to help with either set up or clean up for the banquet.
Please Note: Players will come straight from practice to the dinner! We are having an informal meeting so we can cover all the information you will need … introduce the players/coaches … and end early so the players can get home and STUDY! Please read the note about what you need to bring to the banquet!
